- Teaching and Research
Every year, more than sixty associations help to create an active student life at Sciences Po. With interests ranging from politics to philanthropy, these associations provide opportunities for students to gather and share their passions.
Not only a great meeting place, our associations also help to develop life-long skills such as public speaking, critical thinking, intellectual debate and citizenship in our students. This is in line with Sciences Po’s mission to transfer aptitude as well as knowledge to our students
Through student wide polling, our associations are recognized each year by students for their efforts.
For more information and links to specific associations, take a look at the Student Association website.
Athletics and Recreation
More than 30 sports are organised by the Student Sports Association of Sciences Po (“Association Sportive”) for our students. Amongst them include boxing, handball, soccer, salsa, fencing, and swimming. Apart from these regular activities, exciting social and sports events are also organized by the Student Sports Association throughout the year.

Lectures and events
Sciences Po organises and hosts numerous conferences and presentations from some of the world's most prominent academics, policy-makers, professionals, and practitioners. While registration may be required, these events are generally free for students to attend. Information can be found in the Sciences Po newsletter which is sent to all students through their student email accounts, the Sciences Po website, or the websites of hosting research centers. The Centre for International Studies and Research may be of particular interest to international students.
International students are welcome to join any of the activities above.
